Responders and certifications

Track who is trained, in what, and when it expires.

Responders are the trained people you count on in an emergency. They are records, not logins — a responder does not need portal access (though you can link one to a user account when they have both hats).

Building your roster#

  1. Under Certifications → Responders, add each person with their primary location and contact details.
  2. Open a responder and record their certifications — CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS — each with its issue and expiry dates.
  3. Repeat per person; each responder row then shows their active-cert count and soonest expiry.

Watching compliance#

  • The Certifications tab is the cross-roster view: every certification, filterable by type, status, and expiring soon.
  • Expiring certifications appear on the calendar and as alerts — recertification never sneaks up on you.
  • Archive a certification that is out of service; archived certs stop counting and stop alerting but stay in history.
  • Contact details are visible only to roles permitted to see them.

Tip: Aim for every location to have at least one responder with current CPR/AED certification — the cross-roster view makes gaps obvious.
