Beyond AEDs, the same tools cover eight more kinds of life-safety equipment, and alerts can reach your team in Slack, Microsoft Teams or Discord.

Inspections with built-in monthly checklists

Every AED gets an inspection schedule the day it's added. Inspectors answer a built-in checklist on any phone or computer, each answer shows pass or fail, and a failed answer opens a corrective action and flags the unit. Every inspection is saved as a permanent record with a downloadable PDF.

Pad and battery expiration tracking

Pick each AED's pads and battery from a catalog of 78 parts and the expiration dates fill themselves in. Every date shows on the equipment list, the dashboard, the calendar and the alerts, with a warning 90 days ahead. Replaced parts are archived with their history.

Alerts by email, Slack, Teams and Discord

Alerts open on their own when anything is due, overdue, expiring or failed, and close again when it's fixed. Each person picks immediate, daily or weekly email, and whole alert categories can post to Slack, Microsoft Teams or Discord. FDA recall notices appear on the affected AED.

The responders list in AED Log: each trained responder's location, number of active certifications and soonest expiry, with an expired certification flagged

CPR and AED certification tracking

Track every responder's CPR, AED and first aid certifications from a catalog of 185 certifications across 9 issuing organizations. Expiration dates fill in automatically, certificate copies stay private, and expiring cards raise alerts and appear on the calendar. Responders don't need a login.

A compliance calendar with iCal feeds

Every inspection due date and expiration sits in one month view, color-coded, filtered by type and location, with each event linked to its record. Each user can subscribe to a personal iCal feed in Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, limited to the locations they can access.

The AED incident report form in AED Log: the AED used, when it happened, and the response, including shock advised, shocks delivered, CPR, EMS called and arrival, and outcome

Incident and deployment reports

Record each AED use with whether a shock was advised and delivered, CPR, EMS times, the outcome and a narrative. Other equipment types have their own incident forms. Reports move from open to under review to closed, and the patient section is restricted to Account Owners and Administrators.

Audit-ready compliance reports

Six reports cover inventory, inspection history, expirations, incidents, certifications and the audit trail. Filter by location or date and download a CSV or a branded PDF. Every download is recorded, and filters never show more than a person is allowed to see.

The documents library in AED Log: training rosters, inspection logs, a medical direction letter, emergency plans, a service report and an insurance certificate expiring soon

A document library with expiration dates

Store policies, emergency plans, contracts, certificates and medical direction letters as PDF, Word, Excel, image or text files up to 20 MB. Link each to a location or a unit, and give it an expiration date that feeds the dashboard, calendar and alerts.

QR code labels for every unit

Every unit gets a QR code. Print a single label or Avery 5160 sheets sorted by location, and a scan with any phone camera opens that unit's page on your portal after sign-in, where the inspection starts. Each label shows the unit's name, type, location and serial number.

The Team page in AED Log: each user's role (Account Owner, Administrator, Standard User, Inspector or Read Only) and which locations they can access

Team roles and per-location access

Invite unlimited users and give each one of five roles, from Account Owner to Read Only. Limit anyone to specific locations and their dashboard, lists, calendar, alerts and reports follow. Guardrails keep at least one owner and one all-locations user on every account.

Security: two-factor, passkeys and audit logs

Users protect sign-in with an authenticator app or passkeys, and managers can require two-factor for the whole account. A permanent activity log records who did what, when and from where. Files sit in private storage, and patient details stay restricted and out of the logs.
